Most of the services you’ve come to expect from UT are available during the summer. Academic support, student services, and on-campus facilities will be here for you while you’re on campus.
Academic Support Unit
The Academic Support Unit within the Office of Multicultural Student Life is committed to providing quality tutoring for a variety of undergraduate courses. All students are encouraged to take advantage of this free resource during the summer.
Books, Gear, and Electronics
Your professors will assign textbooks for your classes, and you can purchase them at the VolShop. You’ll also find a wide variety of school supplies and UT gear. You may want to check out the educational discounts at the computer store while you’re at it.
Volunteer Dining offers a meal plan specifically for eating on campus during the summer. As part of the plan, you will receive Dining Dollars for one summer session. You can always add additional Dining Dollars if necessary. Dining Dollars may be used in any of our open cafeterias, on-campus restaurants (like Starbucks, Sbarro, and Einsten Bros. Bagels), and campus convenience stores. You or your parents can purchase Dining Dollars online.
One Stop Express Student Services
One Stop is your source for answers on financial aid, your student account, registration, and records. One Stop counselors are available throughout the summer to help you take care of your business.
Parking and Transit Services
Students who wish to park on campus while taking summer classes must purchase a parking pass. Parking & Transit Services has information on parking fees, as well as campus maps and information on athletic and special events parking.
Student Success Center
The mission of the Student Success Center is to ensure that all students have the opportunity to succeed by providing campus leadership and advocacy for student success at UT. They offer academic support services during the summer such as academic coaching and tutoring.
